They are flavoured in different ways \u2013 in the North, they are made with a slightly tangy flavour, while in the South it is more of spice than tang, but irrespective of the seasoning, the snack itself is very famous and much-loved by Indians.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd37 Preparation Time: 5 mins \u00a0 \ud83d\udd37 Cooking Time: 7 mins \u00a0 \ud83d\udd37 Total Time: 12 mins\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udd37 Ingredients<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 5 tbsp Mayur besan\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 3\/4 tsp chilli powder<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 1\/2 tsp black salt (sanchal)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 1\/2 tsp coriander-cumin seeds (dhania-jeera) powder<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 3\/4 tsp dried mango powder (amchur)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 1\/4 tsp asafoetida (hing)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 1\/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 2 pinches baking soda<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 1 cup raw peanuts<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 1 tbsp Mayur oil<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udd37 Method<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Combine all the ingredients, except the peanuts and oil in a deep bowl and mix well. Keep aside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Combine the raw peanuts and enough water in a deep bowl and immediately strain it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Add the strained peanuts to the besan mixture along with approx. 2 tbsp of water and mix well with a spoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Add the oil and again mix well using a spoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Place the peanut mixture on a big microwave safe plate and lightly spread them. Microwave on high for 4 minutes and lightly separate them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Again microwave on high for 1 minute and toss gently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Repeat step 6 two more times and cool completely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8. Serve or store in an air-tight container.
