β’ 8 bread slices
β’ 4 tsp butter for spreading
β’ 2 tsp butter for brushing
β’ 2 tsp butter for cooking
π· To Be Mixed Into A Stuffing
β’ 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
β’ 1/2 cup finely chopped tomatoes
β’ 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
β’ 1/4 cup grated processed cheese
β’ 1/2 tsp chilli powder
β’ 1/2 tsp coriander (dhania) powder
β’ 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
β’ salt to taste
π· For Serving With Quick Veg Tawa Sandwich

π· Method
1. To make quick veg tawa sandwich, divide the stuffing into equal portions.
2. Place 2 bread slices on a clean, dry surface and spread Β½ tsp of butter evenly over each slice.
3. Place a portion of the stuffing on one buttered bread slice and spread it evenly.
4. Sandwich it using another bread slice with the buttered side facing downwards and press it lightly.
5. Brush Β½ tsp of butter evenly over it.
6. Heat a non-stick a tava (griddle), put Β½ tsp of butter for cooking and place the sandwich on it with the buttered side facing upwards and cook on a medium flame till it turns golden brown in color from both the sides.
7. Cut the sandwich diagonally into 2 equal portions.
8. Repeat steps 2 to 7 to make the rest of the sandwiches.
9. Serve the quick veg tawa sandwich immediately with tomato ketchup.
